Trademark Registration
Registering a trademark ensures that your brand identity remains uniquely yours. Once we file the application, you can legally use the **TM** symbol next to your logo, and once fully registered, the **®** symbol.
Steps in Registration
- Brand Search: We search the IP India database to check for matching or similar marks.
- Class Selection: Assign your brand to the relevant classes out of 45 trademark classes.
- Filing & Receipt: Draft and file Form TM-A. Obtain the application receipt immediately.
Files Needed
- Soft copy of the Logo / Brand name
- PAN & Aadhaar card of the Applicant
- MSME Certificate (to avail 50% Govt fee subsidy)
- Signed authorization (Form TM-48)
- User Affidavit (if logo is already in use)
Renewal Warning
A registered trademark expires after 10 years. Failure to file a renewal application within the deadline (up to 6 months before expiry) can result in the brand being removed from the official registry.
Trademark Renewal
Keep your brand protected indefinitely. Trademark renewals extend your proprietary rights for another 10-year period. We handle all documentation and track deadlines for you.
Key Benefits
Trademark Hearing
If the registrar raises an objection (e.g. under Section 9 for lack of distinctiveness, or Section 11 for similarity to existing brands), we draft a strong legal reply. If the examiner is not satisfied, a show-cause hearing is scheduled.
